Going Home
For this guide, you will start the game in a dark street. Do not worry as this part is just the basics and will not be important in getting the desired ending in Akai Onna. Walking forward, you will come across a woman dressed in red, going in the other direction. As you go to the end of the street, turn right. Keep walking straight until the light from the lamp post at the end, then turn left.
Continue your journey through the empty street until a cutscene plays out. The camera will zoom into your room in the apartment complex to the right. Your home is located on the 4th floor, in the fourth room. Go up the apartment building using the staircase on the left side and go inside your room.
The Next Day
The same routine will play out in Akai Onna. But this time a man will call out to you from behind. He is a police officer inquiring about anyone suspicious walking through there. You reply that you saw a red-dressed woman a few days before. He tells you that there was a murder that happened a few days ago. A husband and his wife were stabbed to death. You go on your way to your apartment building.
Once you’re inside your room, take out the food stored in your refrigerator and heat it up in the microwave sitting on top of it.
The door will ring while you are cooking. Finish eating then answer the door. A hooded man is waiting outside wanting to talk to you.
The hooded man tells you that he has seen a crazy woman lurking in front of your door a few times now and warns you. He then goes off on his own. Before you go to bed there will be a large crash. A dead bird can be seen lying inside your balcony. Go to Sleep.
Husband and Wife
This will be a flashback so it will not affect the ending as everything here already happened. You play as the husband coming home from work and slowly realizing that someone is inside your house. Explore the house and you will find puddles of blood littered on the floor. You later find out that your wife has been slain, lying dead on top of your bed. The crazy woman in red will then kill you as the scene fades. Dying here does not affect the ending in Akai Onna.
The Endings
You wake up in the middle of the night. You see that the woman in red is outside your door so you call the police. The police will investigate your home in two minutes, in which you need to wait until the time expires for you to survive.
Akai Onna Bad Ending 1
For the first ending in Akai Onna, once the two-minute mark starts, you wait in the hallway in front of the door. You hear the glass shatter as the woman jumps inside from the balcony. She gets to you and it’s game over.
Akai Onna Bad Ending 2
For the second ending in Akai Onna, as soon as the timer starts, go to the bathroom and close the door. Wait for the time to expire. Once the two minutes are up you will hear sirens outside. The crazy woman in red has escaped. Later on, she will find you and you will still get killed in front of your door.
Akai Onna Good Ending
Lastly, to survive Akai Onna, as soon as the timer starts, wait by the front door. When you hear the glass crash, run outside the door and go down the staircase. Facing the street, go to your left and run straight until you see a box on the left side of the street. Inside, you will see a toy doll holding a hammer. Pick up the hammer and wait for the woman in red. The moment she is close hit her with the hammer. The woman will fall to the ground dead. You have survived.
